Trial Photography

What’s included

Trial photography is designed to capture the intensity, partnership, and little in-between moments that make a working dog trial worth remembering. Coverage will focus on your dog throughout their performance, from focused obedience and powerful protection work to the expressions, movement, and details that tell the story of your time on the field.

Images are professionally culled and edited in the Wild Sky style, with attention given to action, connection, and the moments that best represent you and your dog as a team. Depending on the package you select, you’ll receive either a curated collection of finished images or your full edited gallery from the trial.

Pricing

10 Image Collection — $100

A great option if you want a curated collection of your favorite moments from the trial. After the event, you’ll receive a preview gallery of your dog’s images and choose the 10 photographs you’d like fully edited and delivered as high-resolution digital downloads.

Your selected images will receive full professional editing, with final delivery within approximately two weeks of your selections being submitted.

Full Gallery — $125

Want the whole story? The Full Gallery includes all of the best images captured of your dog during their time on the field, professionally culled and fully edited. Most galleries are expected to include approximately 25–50 finished images, depending on the length of the performance, time on the field, and photographic opportunities available.

There’s no need to narrow down your favorites. Every finished image in your gallery is included as a high-resolution digital download.

Do I need to pre-book?

Yes. Pre-booking guarantees photography coverage for your dog.

Is pricing per dog or per handler/team?

Per dog.

What happens if the minimum number of bookings isn’t met?

The event photography portion won’t move forward and pre-booked clients will be refunded.

How many images will I receive?

10 with the 10-image collection; typically 25–50 with the full gallery, depending on time on the field and photographic opportunities.

When will I see my photos?

Preview gallery within about 3 days; final editing within approximately 2 weeks after selections for the 10-image package. Up to 4 weeks for the full gallery package.

Can I purchase photos after the event if I didn’t pre-book?

Yes, if images are available, but post-event pricing is higher and coverage isn’t guaranteed.

Please Note:

When you book your photography coverage, the booking system will ask you to choose a time. This is necessary to book the event coverage due to how the booking application works, however, the time slot is arbitrary. Your dog will be photographed during their normal working time on the field. Please just pick a time slot at random. Thank you!
